Forex Trading Frauds

forex trading frauds
Which are the legitimate Forex Trading companies? Which is the authority registering these companies?

I am looking for some legal Forex Trading companies to open account with. There are so many fraud companies in this field which are working without registration and loots the public money.. Also I want to know which is the authority giving regestration for these companies where the list of these regestered companies are published. Any body please help me out!

Great question and great timing.

Although there is no official regulatory agency that has hold of the reigns of the “spot Forex” marketplace the NFA (National Futures Association) has regulatory responsibility for the “Forex futures” market. Since the “spot Forex” market is currently resembling the wild west with some questionable players popping up every day a number of Forex brokers are establishing processes so as to be “compliant with NFA policies and regulations”.

There are current rumors that the NFA will soon require a certain level of financial stability and available funds so that brokers are able to support their operations during irregular markets. Currently a broker can simply close up shop and sail into the sunset with whatever money they can.

A Forex colleague of mine has shared with us a government report indicating the financial stability of 170 Forex brokerages. The consensous seems to be that the NFA will require $5M in available funds within the next couple of months and up to $9M by the end of the year.

Send me your email address and I would be happy to share this report with you and you can see where your broker stands.

Forex Trading How It Works

forex trading how it works
Can you explain margin windows and magin calls to me for forex trading?

Hi,

I’m new to Forex and just started working my way through babypips but I have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer to.

According to ibfx (not sure if url link is permissible here), margin level is defined as:

margin level = current equity in the account / current amount of margin in use

I’ve heard that brokers will make margin calls when margin levels are at 50%, sometimes 80%. I do not understand why this is the case.

I would think that as long as the equity in the account is equal to or greater than the amount required to open the position that the trade could be sustained.

I can see a margin call if a fluctuation of one pip would bring the equity below this amount but I do not see how a 50% margin affects this.

If someone could provide some example numbers perhaps it would help clear this one up for me.

Thanks,

Fortexwindo

Good answer there.

IF you want to get in depth with Forex Trading though, you might want to go with the nation’s #1 resource, http://www.squidoo.com/Trading_Forex/. It’s packed with a lot of stuff, so plan to take a lot of time going over the information, and you probably will have to purchase a course to really get deep into it, but the #1 courses are listed there as well. take care.

Forex Trading No Leverage

forex trading no leverage
I want to trade on Forex, with little or no leverage is this possible?

Im talking like 1:1 or 2:1 leverage. I do not want 100:1 or 200:1 leverage as that would mean substantial risk on my end. I know gains wont be great with minimal leverage but I am happy, for now, to have as little leverage as possible.

Everywhere I have looked leverage seems to be relatively high so your trading 100,000 units of a currency at a time. I’m only looking to put in £500 and make small gains.

Does anyone have anymore details or information on low leveraging and what brokers of the smallest possible leverage?

Thanks in advance.
So I can have a micro contract which will allow me to deposit £1000 with 1:1 leverage.

or have 2:1 and deposit £500 to make up the 1000 units?

YOU have control over your leverage. Your broker only sets the MAX leverage. If your broker offeres 100x leverage, it means you can trade with any leverage at OR BELOW 100x.

Leverage simply amplifies your buying power, it does NOT mean you HAVE to use the extra buying power. A 100x leverage allows you to buy or sell UP TO £50000 equivalent of any currency, with a £500 account equity.

If you sign up with a market maker forex broker which you most likely will since you only plan to trade with £500, then you don’t have to worry about contract sizes as.

If you trade currency futures on CME/GLOBEX, each currency has a different contract size. Ex. each EUR contract has a 125000 multiple and is right now about $171K in notional value.

Giving some light to foreign exchange and currency trading?

Traders require education, experience and knowledge. For this cause we have founded www.pairfx.com – a friendly portal providing tips, a daily market review and answering any questions traders may have.
I would really appreciate if you have some feedback on the reviews we are providing on a daily basis. Most importantly, do they shed some light over the complexity of forex?

http://www.pairfx.com/market-review

Very basic and for beginners.

No new information, only what has been and what can “be seen”, like the last 3 Yen candles are red. I can see that on my own. What does it mean? Does it mean the trend will continue? Is the momentum just beginning or oversold? Any support levels comining up? How much farther can it fall?

I can hear everything you say on CNBC, so why would I want to go to your website?

Having started the week by diving to lows last seen back in December of 2009, the US dollar closed the period out with a notable effort to reverse its fortunes.
