Is the currency pair USD/RUB or RUB/USD a good trade?
I’m a beginner at Forex and have looked at some charts. RUB has a chart that has been going straight down the past 3 years. Is that a good thing?
The Russian Central bank will do anything to keep the ruble going strong against the USD for a while especially with the elections coming up in Russia.. they will pump billions of $’s into the ruble to keep it strong against the USD.
To answer your question: Yes, short it. You will make a nice profit.
I personally am shorting it and am up 400pips
