Forex Trading No Leverage

I want to trade on Forex, with little or no leverage is this possible?
Im talking like 1:1 or 2:1 leverage. I do not want 100:1 or 200:1 leverage as that would mean substantial risk on my end. I know gains wont be great with minimal leverage but I am happy, for now, to have as little leverage as possible.
Everywhere I have looked leverage seems to be relatively high so your trading 100,000 units of a currency at a time. I’m only looking to put in £500 and make small gains.
Does anyone have anymore details or information on low leveraging and what brokers of the smallest possible leverage?
Thanks in advance.
So I can have a micro contract which will allow me to deposit £1000 with 1:1 leverage.
or have 2:1 and deposit £500 to make up the 1000 units?
YOU have control over your leverage. Your broker only sets the MAX leverage. If your broker offeres 100x leverage, it means you can trade with any leverage at OR BELOW 100x.
Leverage simply amplifies your buying power, it does NOT mean you HAVE to use the extra buying power. A 100x leverage allows you to buy or sell UP TO £50000 equivalent of any currency, with a £500 account equity.
If you sign up with a market maker forex broker which you most likely will since you only plan to trade with £500, then you don’t have to worry about contract sizes as.
If you trade currency futures on CME/GLOBEX, each currency has a different contract size. Ex. each EUR contract has a 125000 multiple and is right now about $171K in notional value.
