Is it safe to buy Iraqi Dinars as a foreign currency?
I do know they don’t trade on the FOREX.
Is it safe? Sure. If you check eBay, you will find several sellers, many with excellent feedback.
Is it a good idea? No. If you do buy, think about how you would go about selling them. If you call around to your local banks and currency exchanges, you will find that they are very difficult to sell. Banks and currency exchanges generally won’t touch them, with very few exceptions, because they can’t make a profit on them. If they can’t, how do you expect to?
